 At Western Hay, we don’t just source hay—we grow it ourselves. This means we have complete control over how it’s harvested, ensuring it’s put up at the perfect moisture level using dew or steam for optimal preservation. Our hands-on approach guarantees clean, high-quality hay free from dirt, dust, and foreign materials. 

 When we do purchase hay, we never buy from brokers. Instead, we work directly with farmers we know and trust, supporting small family farms and ensuring that every bale meets our strict quality standards. This allows us to maintain consistency and transparency in every pellet we produce. 

 Our pellets are made from pure hay—nothing else. Unlike some competitors, we refuse to add fillers, binders, or harsh additives. This means your horses get only the best natural nutrition without unnecessary chemicals that could compromise their health. 

 We personally inspect every field we grow on and any fields we source hay from to ensure they are free from harmful weeds or toxic plants. This extra level of care ensures that our pellets are safe, nutritious, and of the highest quality for your animals.
